FACELIFT FOR 200 NORTH
Construction crews are expected to have the utility work that runs along 200 North above the junction with state Road 121 completed within the next 30, according to Roosevelt City Manager Brad Hancock. The street will not likely be paved though until spring 2009, said Hancock, who added that officials hope the cost of road oil drops by then. In addition to widening the street, crews are installing “stub-outs” for the city's future secondary water system that will carry water from Sand Wash Reservoir for outside watering use. The project is being primarily paid for by federal highway funds.
