Tabiona squad wins ball game 11 to 8
Tabiona pounded Intermountain Christian 11-8 in a 1A baseball win on Friday in Sandy, Utah. The Tigers will host Mount Vernon on Thursday. The Tigers led 4-0 after half an inning and 6-1 after the top of the fourth. ICS scored five runs in its half of the fourth to tie up the game at 6-6. Tabiona went up 10-5 with four in the fifth, and added one more in the seventh for an 11-6 edge. ICS scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to lose by three runs. Wade Brown of Tabiona was the winning pitcher. He gave up nine hits and ICS made six errors. THS had eight hits and one error. Dane Rhoades was 4-for-5 in the game for Tabiona. He had a double and triple.
