World Cup 2030 host cities confirmed across six countries

FIFA confirmed the twenty host cities for the 2030 World Cup on Wednesday, completing the venue map for a centenary tournament that will open in Montevideo and be played across six countries on three continents.

Spain hosts eleven venues, Morocco six and Portugal three, alongside the three ceremonial opening matches in Uruguay, Argentina and Paraguay honoring the 1930 tournament. The final will be played in Madrid.

Logistics remain the tournament's central question: teams drawn into the South American opening round face a 10,000-kilometer relocation within the first week. FIFA said group-stage schedules will be built to guarantee at least six days between those fixtures.
