Enterprise AI Startup Wonderful Raises $550 Million as Valuation Rockets to $5 Billion

The Israeli-Dutch startup's valuation has more than doubled in under six months, the latest sign investors are still paying up for AI agent platforms that can prove they work inside large companies.

Wonderful, an enterprise AI startup with roots in Israel and the Netherlands, said Wednesday it has raised $550 million in a Series C round that values the company at $5 billion — more than double the $2 billion valuation it carried just six months ago.

The round was led by Insight Partners, with Salesforce joining as a new investor alongside returning backers Index Ventures, IVP, Vine Ventures, 9Yards and Bessemer Venture Partners, according to TechCrunch. Founded in early 2025, Wonderful has now raised money across four rounds in roughly ten months, climbing from a $700 million valuation to $5 billion as it expanded from a customer-service AI agent tool into what it calls a full "AI operating system" for large enterprises.

From chatbots to an "AI OS"

The company's platform is designed to coordinate AI agents, workflows and applications across a company's existing data and software rather than requiring customers to rip out their current systems, and it supports models from multiple AI labs rather than locking customers into one. "Customers can adopt whichever parts of the platform make the most sense, integrate them with existing systems, choose the best models for each workload, and retain ownership of everything they build," Roey Lalazar, Wonderful's co-founder and chief technology officer, said in comments reported by Reworked. The company has grown to roughly 650 employees operating in more than 35 markets, and it leans heavily on what it calls forward-deployed engineers who work on-site with customers to get the technology embedded into daily operations.

Wonderful's jump follows a broader pattern this year in venture capital, where funding has concentrated in AI infrastructure and enterprise-agent startups that can show measurable adoption, even as fundraising remains difficult for companies outside that narrow band. Round sizes above $1 billion have become more common at the top of the market, but investors say most founders still face a far more selective bar than the headline numbers suggest.

Wonderful said the new capital will go toward product development, expanding its deployment teams and meeting enterprise demand across the markets it already serves, rather than funding a push into new geographies in the near term. With Salesforce now on the cap table alongside its venture backers, the round also signals how established enterprise software vendors are increasingly investing directly in the AI startups that could either become partners or competitors in the years ahead.
